Oh, ye mighty force of nature,
grant me humility
to understand and accept
that when things aren’t working for me,
it is the universe’s time
to work for someone else.
Allow me to have enough open-mindedness
to accept yet again
that all things in the fabric of life
are interconnected,
and when something is depleted of resources,
it could be in the process
of borrowing
and shifting energy from somewhere else
to work more or less smoothly.
